“The Science Guys” Visit Villa’s 8th Grade Science Class

On December 4, the Eighth grade girls enjoyed a presentation in Mrs. Duke’s Science class by “The Science Guys.” They learned about electrical circuits, acids and bases and how sound waves travel. The girls participated in this hands-on assembly. They used pH indicators to determine the acidity/alkalinity of liquids.  The girls also learned that their bodies conduct electricity by holding hands to create a closed circuit.
