Third Annual Grandparents and Special Friends Day

We are gearing up for our Third Annual Grandparents and Special Friends Day! Grandparents and Special Friends Day was has been such a success the last few years and has been scheduled this year for Friday, November 20, 2015 from 9:00-11:30 a.m..

Villa’s all-school Grandparents and Special Friends Day is a beautiful morning for children to spend with their special guests. The day begins with light snacks and refreshments in the gymnasium, where the children meet their special guests and then moves to a short prayer service honoring guests in Sacred Heart Chapel before classroom visits.

It is a wonderfully fun time to bring together families and build community. Children have an opportunity to show their appreciation and love toward their grandparents and special friends, and are so proud to show them their school and what they learn. It’s a celebration of the value of all generations and the special relationships between them.

Parents, you can find the R.S.V.P. form for your child’s special guests in the Villa Weekly this week. The form will be your child’s guest’s ONLY R.S.V.P. as we are trying to streamline the process each year due to the overwhelming attendance. It is our hope that you and your child will personally invite your guests and register for them if they are able to attend. R.S.V.P.’s are due in by October 30th.
