Villa Girls Receive Most Awards for Private Middle School Students at CCSRC Awards Ceremony
On March 17, sixth and seventh graders from Villa Maria Academy were honored at the Chester County Science Research Competition Awards Ceremony.
Stefanie J. won third place in Earth and Space Science.
Norah C. won third place in Zoology.
Caroline C. won second place in Earth and Space Science as well as a special Future Scientists Award. Caroline is invited to compete against projects from the tri-state area at the Delaware Valley Science Fair March 29-31.
The 2015-2016 Chester County Science Research Competition Winners were posted this week. “Villa students have more awards than any other private or parochial middle school in the area. Given the fact that we don’t have eighth graders compete, this is an honor for our Villa girls! I’m very proud of all of the girls for their hard work and extra effort,” said Villa’s Science Teacher, Mrs. Shannon Duke.
