Welcome Back
Last Wednesday we welcomed our students and families back to a new school year! We are extremely excited to be starting this new school year with our growing family. We are very pleased that our school has a well-earned reputation in our community to its commitment of fostering academic excellence while consistently focusing on creating positive social relationships. After all, when you share yours and your child’s great experiences within the community, that is our best form of advertising our wonderful school.
Students were welcomed at the Transportation Center by Student Leadership Team members and teachers and guided into the gym for prayer before going to their classrooms to meet their teachers. The classrooms were full of nervousness, excitement and wonder for all their new experiences.
At lunchtime, as a tradition at Villa, teachers joined the tables of students in the lunchrooms to get to know them and share in their excitement of the day and ease any first day jitters.
The girls were happy to be back together smiling and laughing on the playground and walking through the halls.
Ask kids what they feel about the first day of school, and they’ll tell it from the heart. It was a “ten out of ten day,” one new student told her parents. And for parents, it just doesn’t get much better than that.
Here’s to a new and exciting school year!
