New this Year – Villa Academic Quiz Team

New this year, students in 5th to 8th grade at Villa Maria Academy are invited to join the Villa Academic Quiz Team. The quiz team is the most team-oriented academic competition available.  At tournaments, two middle school teams face off to answer academic-centered questions.  The National Academic Quiz Tournaments (NAQT) designs questions across many disciplines, and students compete to answer quickly and accurately both individually and as a team.

Villa parents Maria De Jong and Theresa Evans will coach the Villa team.  Meetings will be once a week on Thursdays after school from October to March.  If you have any questions, please feel free to send an email to villaquizteam@gmail.com.
