Student Immunizations
Proof of completed PA State Mandated Immunizations are required before a child may attend school. PA State Law states, “that a child may not be admitted to school without proof of these immunizations.”
All Children must have the following Immunizations:
- 4 doses of tetanus (1 dose on or after the 4th birthday)
- 4 doses of diphtheria (1 dose on or after the 4th birthday)
- 4 doses of polio
- 2 doses of measles
- 2 doses of mumps
- 1 dose of rubella (German measles)
- 3 doses of hepatitis B
- 2 doses of varicella (chickenpox) vaccine or history of disease
Children entering 7thgrade need the following:
- 1 dose of tetanus, diphtheria, accellular pertussis (Tdap)
- 1 dose of meningococcal conjugate vaccine (MCV or Menactra)
Students who are exempt from immunization due to medical contraindications must present written confirmation from their private physician to the school. A religious or moral basis for a child not to be immunized is not recognized as an exemption.
